Miss Barred is quite pretty, and her taste of style allows her to fit in well with her time loops fashions. Her hair is fairly long but is often kept up in a ponytail. Shorter strands of her light brown hair escape and fall loosely around her face, framing her pale complexion. Her eyes are almond shaped and a deep shade of brown, reflecting similarly when she is transformed into her barred owl form. Her body build is slender and feminine, often being highlighted by the fact that she wears corsets regularly.

When transformed into her barred owl form she has a beautiful flurry of grays, browns and whites marking her feathered body. Her eyes are larger and more round, framing her sharp beak. Her large talons are powerful and capable of causing severe damage to human and peculiar alike.

Being a Ymbryne, Miss Barred is level headed and kind. Her whole life is her children. She has dedicated her whole world to protecting those who end up in her school and searching for those still undiscovered in the human world. Always striving to get to know each child on a personal level, Miss Barred is nurturing, warm, and charming. However she has the potential to be absolutely vicious if her children are being harmed. More than once she has transformed herself into an owl and maimed enemies that would do them harm.

Miss Barred is fairly curt and straightforward, which can often come across a little bit robotic. Because of this she can occasionally be at the receiving end of jokes from her own children, even though they truly adore her. She is often referred to as strict and over protective. She would die for her school without a second thought, and is more than willing to if it means the children make it.

Miss Barred has known since she was a young child what she was destined to become. Being able to turn into a bird came first.
